Neighbors in Need offering, October 7.

This offering is the financial means that supports the Council for American Indian Ministry, Justice and Witness ministries, Justice initiatives , advocacy efforts, and direct service projects through grants. 


October is, once again, sock drive month.  Our Food Pantry (Andrews Basket) is requesting donations of socks for Guardian AdLidem.

Our food pantry (Andrews Basket) is open to the community on Monday & Wednesday from 9:00 - Noon.

   Free Senior Meals Mon. and Wed.  Come for a     nutritious meal, bingo at 9:45, and fellowship. It is essential that you register with the church office

so there will be enough food for all.  

There is always a need for donations of non perishable items and money for our food pantry.

Recent Events

Union Congregational United Church of Christ recently celebrated 130 years of worship in our church building.  The church structure was built in 1888 and at that tiome was the worship and meeting place for the community.  The congregation  continues to be a vital part of the community.

      On the left...  Pastor Ken is drssed in symbolic clothing to celebrate 130 years of service to God by serving the community. 



         March for our lives in Tavares 

  ....in support of students and families effected by gun violence in Florida and elsewhere in our country.
